1. What is a brand, and why is it critical to my company’s success?

 A brand is essentially person’s perception of a product, service, experience, or organization; Branding is the process of connecting good strategy with good creativity. The foundation of a brand is to build trust. It’s important because will customers trust your brand when their experiences consistently meet or beat their expectations. 

 

2. What is brand strategy and why is it included in your process? 

Brand strategy is a plan for the systematic development of a brand in order to meet business objectives. We dive deep into understanding your business by creating user profiles and journeys, brand attributes, and your positioning in the market. We make it a point to answer to your business goals and objectives through strategy which will inform the design process and deliverables, hence our mantra strategy-led design. One does not exist without the other. 

 

3. How long does the process take?

Each project varies depending on the findings of our strategy sessions in diagnosing the symptoms of your business and recommending the appropriate outcomes. Project engagements this can vary from two months to six months depending on the complexity of each project. This also depends on your dedicated participation throughout the duration of the project.

 

4. Is it important to come with a concept in mind?

Not at all! In fact many of our clients come to us without a sense of direction of what their brand concept would be. We aim to eliminate that confusion by offering our brand strategy session which will help develop some sense of direction pertaining to your brand.  

 

5. What if I just need a logo? 

We focus our attention on crafting brand systems that go beyond a singular touchpoint (logo), therefore a logo design project is not a project we can support. We are happy to provide you a recommendation. 

 

6. What if we wanted to hire your agency for just illustrations or calligraphy?

We understand, again this is considered a singular touch point that we cannot support without it being part of the whole brand experience. All of our featured projects including illustration and calligraphy are part of a whole brand experience that start with brand strategy informing company objectives and goals to match the right creative outcome. 

 

7. Have you considered setting up a shop for some of the calligraphic and illustration pieces that you have produced for some of your projects?

We have thought about it and we are in the process of offering limited edition posters and pieces of merchandise for our loyal customers. Nothing makes us happier than to see our clients and customers wearing our merchandise or hanging them on walls. However none of the work seen in our portfolio will be part of our shop as that is copyrighted material belonging to our clients. 

 

8. Do you offer workshops?

Yes we do! In fact teaching is a big part of our company culture and we aim to thoroughly educate and inspire with every client interaction we nurture.
